In its new range of chainsaws, although intended for the semi-professional user, STIGA has opted for a series of technical construction solutions typical of top-of-the-range professional machines. The result is a super reliable, powerful, well balanced, practical and easy to use and maintain chainsaw. Here are the salient solutions in detail:

Engine casing in magnesium alloy, maximum strength and excellent stiffness to support the engine unit. 3-element crankshaft as in professional machines. Super low weight. Steel harpoon with 5 teeth for an optimal grip on the wood.

Chain brake integrated in the engine casing. Bar cover with double stud, stud nuts with internal stop that do not allow them to slip out of the cover when we remove it to change the chain. No more losing slash dice in the grass when changing chain!

Primer (pump) to prime the carburettor and facilitate cold engine starting. Ergonomic Soft Grip handles. Carburettor manufactured by Walbro (world leader in the production of carburettors for 2-stroke garden machines).

Conveniently located fuel cap that is easily accessible. Window for visual control of the mixture level.

Quick release top cover for quick access to air filter and spark plug. Air filter in very fine washable nylon mesh. We also point out that the diagrams of the operations to be carried out to start the machine are shown on the top cover ... excellent and useful reminder, especially for occasional users!

"Always On" type switch. It is a switch with return spring which, once pressed to zero to switch off the machine, returns to the ON position by itself. This avoids flooding the machine by pulling the self-winding cord having left the switch in the OFF position by distraction. Soft Grip and Soft Touch ergonomic rear handle, wide base of the rear handle to facilitate starting with the machine on the ground.

Spark plug key housed in the rear handlebar. On one side it has the measurement for the spark plug, on the other the measurement for working on the chain cover nuts. In this way we will always have the fundamental tool on the machine!
